The Friendship Project by Erin Fong
When: Friday, January 17, 2020 to Monday, March 2, 2020
Opening Reception: Friday, January 17 from 6-9 pm
Rare Device is pleased to announce our latest gallery exhibition, The Friendship Project, an ongoing series of letterpress posters by Erin Fong, featuring collected advice on friendship. As a participatory project, every print spotlights words of wisdom from each participant’s submission, pairing it with their favorite color. Backgrounds are individually printed monotypes with hand-set woodtype for the text. The prints are designed to be displayed together in a rainbow of color, representative of the wide spectrum of ways to be a good friend. With every new response, the Friendship Project continues to grow in an ever-evolving, chromatic collection of insights. You can participate at erinloves.fun/friendshipproject.
