We are packing and shipping orders 2 times a week. No contact curbside pick-up service is also available on Wednesdays and Fridays from 2-4 pm at 600 Divisadero Street. Simply walk up to the store and give us your name and we will grab your order for you. We appreciate your support during these uncertain times. We value every order that we receive.
Full-price, unused, unopened merchandise in its original packaging with all tags attached is eligible for store credit ONLY within 20 days of receipt. Write to us at email@example.com for return instructions. We will provide a physical address for you to mail your insured and carefully packed item to.
When we receive the returned merchandise, you will be issued store credit for the amount of your order, minus the original shipping and handling fees. Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable, and you must pay to ship your item back to us.
Custom orders, gallery artwork, skin care items, cosmetics, food items, and sale items are FINAL SALE.
Domestic shipping is via USPS Ground, Priority Mail, or Express Mail. Delivery confirmation is free but insurance is optional. All shipping options include tracking which will be provided to you once your package ships.
Orders ship within 1 to 2 business days. We may use an alternate delivery service (such as UPS) for larger packages.
Please double check your shipping address. Rare Device will not be responsible for lost or misdirected packages due to incorrect addresses.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING METHODS AND ESTIMATED TRANSIT TIMES
- USPS Ground (aka Flat Rate Shipping) - 2 to 8 Business Days depending on distance from San Francisco, CA
- USPS Priority - 2 to 3 Business Days
- USPS Express - 1 Business Day
We offer two modes of international shipping:
USPS Express Mail International is our recommended shipping service for international orders, as it is the fastest and most secure.
USPS Priority International is another option, albeit a much slower one. We cannot guarantee delivery dates with Priority Mail International. However, tracking is available on most Priority Mail International packages.
International orders are subject to customs, local duties and taxes. Payment of applicable duties, taxes and other fees is the customer's responsibility. Please note that due to high incidences of fraud, we will ship internationally at our discretion.
We offer the option of Store Pickup as a Shipping Method, which means you pay nothing for shipping, and you get to come by our lovely store during business hours to pick up your order at your convenience! Pick-up is only available from 600 Divisadero St. San Francisco, CA 94117 during our regular store hours.
We accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club. We also accept Paypal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay payments.
NOTE: Paypal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay payments are processed automatically when you submit your order. If you pay with a credit card, we will process your payment when we ship.
We are required to charge 8.5% sales tax on all orders shipped to California addresses.
If your order is a gift please let us know during checkout, and we will not include a receipt. If you would like a gift card included, please type a short note in the comments and we'll handwrite it on a card for you.
Electronic gift certificates are sent to any email address and the recipient can redeem online. You can send any amount, and incur no shipping as they are delivered electronically. Gift Certificates are a simple, easy way to give the gift of Rare Device shopping.
You will need to forward the gift card to your intended recipient yourself in order for them to receive your gift. At this time, gift cards bought online cannot be used at our brick and mortar store.
