'Found Dogs' Book Launch with author Erica Sirotich
Tons of fun was had by all when author Erica Sirotich stopped by RD Divisadero to promote her new book, Found Dogs. The book takes your child on the adventure of counting shelter dogs and then counting back down as each one gets adopted. It’s accompanied by Erica’s bright, fun illustrations of adorable and adoptable dogs looking for their forever homes. The event kicked off Saturday afternoon with a live book reading and drawing!

Everyone was encouraged to participate as Erica drew a series of furry animals from dogs to unicorns, and looked to the audience for help with coloring. Kids were not the only ones having all the fun, though. A small pack of furry friends also stopped by for a short doggo parade through the center of the store.

An additional live reading and drawing wrapped up the event. Erica's book, Found Dogs, is available at both RD Divis and RD Noe Valley, as well as online. Originally a Florida native, Erica currently resides in St. Petersburg, Florida with her dog Russell Redfur, but holds a special place in her heart for San Francisco, where she lived for several years.
