Day Trip: An Opening Reception Recap
On April 26th, Day Trip: A Rare Device Staff Show opened to a warm crowd of friends, families and loved ones. This is the 8th staff show. Over the years, shows have explored concepts of home, found inspiration in plant life, examined a quieter, slower life during the pandemic, and found ways to express a reality fueled by gratitude, perseverance, and a little bit of luck. This year's show pays homage to the city we're all fortunate to call home, showcasing the must-sees, the must-dos, and the can't-misses of the micro-neighborhoods that make up our fantastic city.
For the duration of the show, we also invite customers to enter to win the Day Trip Prize package. Stop by the show during store hours, sign up for our newsletter and tell us which San Francisco neighborhood you'd like to explore more. One winner will get an San Francisco themed prize package of prints and cards from some of our favorite Bay Area artists and makers (3 Fish Studios, Creativity Explored, Sara Diamond, Risa Iwasaki Culbertson, and Yellow Owl Studios!)
For some of us, it's the one time a year we get creative and allow ourselves to emulate the artists and makers that we carry in-store. Thank you to our customers and our community for allowing us to share our art with you!
