Belle Calligraphy Kit Launch Party with Maybelle Imasa-Stukuls
Please join us for an artist reception celebrating the release of the Belle Calligraphy Kit by artist Maybelle Imasa-Stukuls and Chronicle Books. Maybelle will be at our Divisadero store at 600 Divisadero Street, San Francisco on Saturday, October 17th, from 2-4pm. She will be doing in-store demonstrations and will be creating personalized tags to tie on to your kit, have one written for yourself or one for each of your friends. A personalized tag will surely delight the recipient of a Belle Calligraphy Kit. Come hang out, witness some elegant hand-lettering in action, and celebrate with us! Refreshments will be provided.

About the Artist:
Maybelle Imasa-Stukuls is an artist, calligrapher, and designer from Hawaii, who currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area and works worldwide. She finds beauty in imperfection and draws her inspiration from 19th century Botanical engravings, alphabet specimens and hand painted signs.
She is best known for her distinct calligraphy style that can be found in numerous magazines including Sunset, Victoria, Better Homes and Gardens, Brides, and on the cover of Martha Stewart Weddings. Blogs that have featured her work include Besotted, Brooklyn Bride, Design Sponge, Oh Happy Day, Snippet & Ink, Sunday Suppers and Style Me Pretty. She has created work for many festive occasions including celebrity weddings. Belle Calligraphy is the first book that she has written and illustrated.
Maybelle teaches workshops in the following cities: Boston, Honolulu, Los Angeles Melbourne, New York, Portland, San Francisco, Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo.
