Juniper Ridge's Mobile Field Lab Comes to Noe Valley

It might not feel like it here in San Francisco, but autumn has arrived! Noe Valley is celebrating with its annual Harvest Festival this Saturday, October 18 from 10am-5pm. Rare Device is in the spirit too, and we're hosting longtime local favorites Juniper Ridge and their Field Lab right outside the shop during the Harvest Festival.

Juniper Ridge is the world’s only wild fragrance company. Based in Oakland, California, the company travels to mountains and deserts throughout the West, making perfumes and colognes from real plants, bark, moss, mushrooms, and tree trimmings found hiking the backcountry.

Field Lab Events are events Juniper Ridge hosts or attends to distill essential oils roadside with a mobile still. They park the company's Field Lab Van and fire up a converted whiskey still to demonstrate the lost art of fragrance distillation. If you've never seen it, it's truly amazing and all of Noe Valley is going to feel just like Big Sur, the Mojave Desert, the Cascade Mountains, and other magical wild places.

The Field Lab will be set up for the day just outside Rare Device Noe Valley on Saturday, October 18 beginning at 10am. Stop by and learn about Juniper Ridge, a local company with a great story, and see their unique process for yourself. Wander a little further down 24th Street for great food and music at the Harvest Festival as well! What better way to welcome fall?

For more information call 415-374-7412 or email ellie@raredevice.net. See you Saturday!
