Serpent Kiss Earrings
While snakes are an often maligned species, Dea Dia finds beauty in the powerful serpent. The shedding of the skin represents rebirth, renewal and transformation which are favorite themes of Dea Dia designer & owner, Jessica Lawson. They make the perfect totem or guardian! These earrings were first sculpted by hand in wax in Dea Dia's high desert studio (home to many snakes - the desert - not the studio!) before being cast in recycled metals with sterling silver posts and backs in DTLA. Dea Dia loves asymmetry so please be aware of the post placement: 1 on the head and 1 on the tail.
