Behind Céju is Juliette, who chose to venture into ceramics in December 2021, proudly embracing her status as a self-taught artist.
True to her values of simplicity, she seeks in each creation to juxtapose clean, refined forms with unconventional, original, or even quirky elements. This almost childlike attraction to disproportions characterizes Céju's creations: mugs with oversized or naive handles, plates and trays with irregular edges, or repeated shapes, etc.
All Céju pieces are hand-modeled, which makes them, by definition, unique.
