Mother's Day

Did you know Mother's Day is this Sunday? Judging by the people running into the shop today, that fact just dawned on everyone. I was joking with a customer that there needs to be a Me Day so that one can shop without guilt for oneself. I get a lot of sad comments like "I'm shopping for someone else but I love this for myself."

Anyhow - we received a few last-minute items that would be a great gift (for your mom or for yourself) including new jewelry designs by Laurice Curran, and new tiles by Xenia Taler. We have restocked the popular owl and tree designs but added a couple new ones. See pictures of Laurice and Xenia's work after the jump.

We're also restocked on Perch! Designs' sunny yellow Mason jar/vases and the sweet Container for One Thing, these items can be found in the webshop too. We got a slew of Nikki McClure's baby journals as well, since people are buying 2 and 4 at a time.

 

That's it for now. I'm going to work on a "Rena's Picks" section for the webshop if you are overwhelmed with choices and need a little guidance. Don't forget to hit Brooklyn Designs tomorrow too! Donna of the Re-Surface graffiti lights will have awesome and giant new pendant lamps at the show, I am really looking forward to seeing her and the other designers.
