Happy Wednesday!

It is beautiful outside and our Egglings have arrived just in time! We are now fully stocked with assorted flavors: basil, mint, spicy red pepper, even wild strawberry for the foodies. We also have Lavender de Provence, which I've pulled out as a display and maybe we'll have our little guy in the window. [Click the photo to see a larger image.]


What're Egglings you ask? They're porous ceramic eggs that have a filter at the bottom for excess water to seep through. Each box comes with a terra cotta tray and a packet of seeds. The egg is filled with soil and you just crack the top with a spoon and you're all ready to start planting.
