In this beginner-friendly needle felting workshop, Risa will teach you the fundamentals of needle felting and show you 2 ways to create your very own mouth pin (and bonus eyeballs!). You’ll have a variety of colors to choose from and walk away with not only a finished project but a kit to take home to keep on felting.
Supplies Needed: None. As part of this class, you will receive a kit that includes: felting needle , wool, fabric for patch making, and other felting supplies to take home.
About the instructor: Risa Iwasaki Culbertson is a multi-disciplinary artist in San Francisco, CA with a focus in: fiber arts, illustrating, and story telling. Inspired by the healing and connective power of humor and play, she creates her wacky, whimsical, and colorful work as a way to process deep emotions in grief and joy, while creating places of belonging and finding ways to stay connected to those we love.
