Rare Device is proud to present our Holiday 2022 Pop-Up: Bright Spots, featuring the works of Lisa Congdon, Baby Cats of California, and MŪR by Ayca. This year’s pop-up will showcase a curated collection of the best and brightest the trio of artists have to offer, including art prints, books, apparel, and more “must-give” gift items for the season. Learn About the Artists:

Lisa Congdon: Lisa Congdon is an artist and writer, known for her colorful, bold illustrations.  She’s worked with numerous clients that include MOMA, REI, Chronicle Books, and Simon & Schuster. She lives and works in Portland, Oregon. (She’s also one of the original owners of Rare Device!)

Baby Cats of California: Katharine Peterson is the founder and producer of Baby Cats of California. Katharine uses her experience as a textile designer to create gender neutral baby clothes that are quirky and full of personality. Her brand has since branched out into adult apparel, totes, and enamel pins.

MŪR by Ayca: San Francisco-based artist Ayca Kilicoglu designs vibrant, sophisticated, and eye-catching prints with whimsical and unexpected details that allude to power. These prints find homes on bandanas and scarves—all of which are printed in limited numbers in the designer’s hometown of Turkey, where the edges are hand-rolled with love by local women.
