Rare Device Has a New Owner!
Dear Rare Device Community,
It is with so much joy that I introduce the new owner of Rare Device, Marine Malta. Originally from the South of France, she moved to San Francisco seven years ago and has enjoyed exploring the city’s vibrant culture while pursuing her creative passions.
I am excited to see how Marine will continue to grow and evolve Rare Device. She is committed to uphold the same core values of fostering creativity and connection with the community. I’m also delighted to say that our staff are staying with the company and are excited to continue with this next chapter. I am looking forward to seeing how Marine will make this business her own by infusing her own voice, just like I did when I took over 13 years ago.
It has been one of the greatest adventures of my life to run Rare Device for the past 13 years. I have learned and grown so much through being a small business owner and an employer in our wonderful city of San Francisco. I have met the most amazing people through this journey and many of them remain lifelong friends. Thank you so much, San Francisco, for all that you have given me. As I make my exit from this stage of my life, please know that my heart is full and I will carry all of the wonderful memories with me. My last day at Rare Device is on September 15. You can follow me at @giselle_gyalzen if you’re curious about what I’m up to.
I will continue to be a loyal customer and I hope that you do as well.

Please join us for a Hello and Goodbye party on Thursday, September 26 from 6-8pm. This evening will be a chance to meet and get to know Marine, and to bid me farewell. We would both love to see you!
Love,
Giselle
