Everyday Objects by Bridget Watson Payne Opening Reception

Everyday Objects at Rare Device

The opening reception for our latest gallery show, Everyday Objects by local artist and author Bridget Watson Payne was a huge success. The show featured 20 pieces hand painted and drawn by Bridget of the ordinary, and sometimes overlooked, items that fill our lives. Featuring nostalgic items from our past such as a Cyndi Lauper mixtape and Winnebago camper van, there is a little something for everyone. You may know Bridget from her wildly successful books, How Art Can Make You Happy and The Secret Art of Being a Grown-Up. Both are available at RD Divisadero and Noe Valley, as well as online.

A crowd began to celebrate the opening early in the evening, with several pieces being scooped up almost immediately.
