Facets

I must admit, I am enjoying the facet trend right now. I think it's been dots and stripes so long that facets seem outrageously fun. I also like the new metallics in small doses, a little bit beat up and muted, bronze and pewter and the like. We got a tiny bit of Roost in the SF shop - champagne flutes with wide trumpet-like mercury bases, faceted narrow vases that look like they were dipped in silver, and platinum-finished votives - with facets - in a kiriwood box - how could I resist? They are called Pyrite votives and that is a good name for this dark and shining look. Oh, and the candles smell great too, a little spicy and great for this time of the year.
