Ivy

With our trusty DeWalt drill in hand, we finally installed the Ivy modular coat hook system during a lull today, when everyone was out rejoicing in the very springlike weather. It looks great on the wall with some dramatic lighting above it. We're going to hang bags and such on it for display, but we took some pictures (see below) of it unadorned. We'll have these on the webshop soon but you can always email or call us; we have 2 colors and they are $60/set. We had 3 or 4 Y-shapes leftover from this configuration, for those of you wondering just what you get with the kit.

We also have new journals in (more journals!) from Five and a Half, from Brooklyn. Judy's latest series of handmade journals use sugarcane paper and recycled stock, so no trees cut down for her books! The sugarcane covers have a pretty luscious hand, actually, and are adorned with illustrations - one wagon coach and one set of cakes on cake stands, an homage to Wayne Thiebaud.
