Home Show Reception

Home Show Reception

A great turnout made for a truly happy gathering at our mid-month reception for the Home Show last Friday at Rare Device Divisadero! Not only was it a packed shop all night, it also happened to be SF Beer Week, and our friends across the street at Mojo Bicycle Cafe generously gave any reception-goers a discount on a drink, extending the celebration outside our doors. It was a fun night, and we thank you all for coming out to support the work of current and former employees of Rare Device.

Speaking as an employee of Rare Device myself, it has been a great pleasure to work at a shop whose mission is to cultivate relationships between artists and the greater community; while we provide our customers access to well designed and carefully crafted products, we also very much desire to provide both aspiring and veteran artists a place to showcase their work. Our team also consists of wonderful people who are deeply interested in art, and the Home Show was a great chance to share what we do when we aren’t working the storefront. Again, thank you all for coming out and supporting us and Rare Device!

If you haven’t had a chance to check out the work, the Home Show will be up for a little longer, until Tuesday, February 2nd. You can also view all pieces here. All photos provided by our Community Events Coordinator, Alice Wu, and all photos of pieces provided by the artists.
