The Habitat Print is a collaboration between Annie Galvin and Eric Rewitzer. For this design, they picked out native plants and small animals that can be found near their new home in the Sierra Nevada foothills. Annie drew them into a beautiful pattern, which Eric then transferred onto a 3 foot by 3 foot block of linoleum. Next, Eric spent hours carving out each element, adding texture and depth to Annie's line drawings. When finished, they brought the plate to San Francisco, where the first prints were made via steamroller!
