Return/Exchange Policy
Full-price, unused, unopened merchandise in its original packaging is eligible for store credit ONLY within 15 days of receipt. Write to us at for return instructions. We will provide an address for you to mail your insured and carefully packed item to.

Exchanges: If you need merchandise in a different size, you must return the item(s) to us and then reorder the correct size, using your store credit toward the new purchase.

When we receive the returned merchandise, you will be issued store credit for the amount of your order, minus the original shipping and handling fees. Original shipping and handling fees are non-refundable, and you must pay to ship your item back to us.

Custom orders, skin care items, clothing and sale items are FINAL SALE.

Domestic Shipping
Domestic shipping is via USPS Priority Mail or Express Mail; you choose your shipping method at the time of checkout. Shipping costs are based on weight, destination and method. USPS issues an automated email with your delivery confirmation number when your order ships. Delivery confirmation is free but insurance is optional. If insurance is not purchased, Rare Device is not responsible for damage or loss after shipping. Before shipping, we double-check if all items are undamaged and packed well. Orders ship within 5 to 7 business days. Delivery times will range from 1-7 business days after we ship, depending on your distance from California and shipping method. We reserve the right to use a different delivery service (such as UPS) for larger packages.

PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK THE ACCURACY OF YOUR SHIPPING ADDRESS. WE WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR MISDIRECTED PACKAGES DUE TO INCORRECT ADDRESSES. IF WE HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT YOUR ADDRESS, WE WILL CONTACT YOU BY EMAIL & WE WILL HOLD YOUR ORDER UNTIL WE GET YOUR RESPONSE. IF YOU ARE SHIPPING TO A BUSINESS ADDRESS, PLEASE INCLUDE THE NAME OF THE BUSINESS AND ANY FLOOR, SUITE OR MAILBOX INFORMATION SO THAT THE USPS CAN ROUTE THE PACKAGE PROPERLY.

We offer Signature Confirmation for most domestic shipments. The fee for Signature Confirmation will be added to your order total. This service is optional, however we will not be responsible for replacing lost, stolen, or misdirected packages if you do not select Signature Confirmation. We strongly urge occupants of multi-unit buildings to choose this service to prevent packages from sitting unguarded in a lobby. If you cannot be home to receive packages, we suggest you use your business address.

International Shipping
We offer two modes of international shipping.

USPS Express Mail International is our recommended shipping service for international orders. It is the fastest; packages will arrive in your country within a few days of shipment. All Express Mail international packages are trackable to ensure that you know where your package is at all times after it leaves our doors. Please allow extra time for your package to arrive - after a package arrives at customs in your country, it may take additional time to reach you by your local carrier.

USPS Priority International is also a shipping option. Packages shipped Priority Mail International can take from two to four weeks after shipment to arrive at their destination. We cannot guarantee delivery dates with Priority Mail International. Tracking is available on most Priority Mail International packages.

International orders are subject to customs, local duties and taxes. Payment of applicable duties, taxes and other fees is the customer's responsibility. Please note that due to high incidences of Internet fraud, we will ship internationally at our discretion.

Store Pickup
If you choose Store Pickup as your Shipping Method, you will not be charged for shipping. Come by our store in San Francisco during business hours to pick up your order at your convenience.

Damaged Items
Despite our best efforts, mail is occasionally damaged, so insurance is strongly recommended. Please notify us immediately if any part of your order arrives damaged. At our discretion, we will either credit your credit card/Paypal account or ship a replacement item to you. If you have insured your order, please contact us immediately and save the packaging (or photograph the condition of the packaging.)

Payment Options
We currently accept the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, and American Express. We also accept Paypal payments. NOTE: Paypal orders are processed automatically when you submit your order. If you pay with a credit card, we will process your order when we ship.

Sales Tax
We are required to charge 8.5% sales tax on all orders shipped to California addresses. Gift certificates incur no tax or shipping and are delivered electronically.

Packaging
If your order is being sent directly to a gift recipient and should not include a receipt, please let us know during checkout. If you would like a gift card included, please type in a short note in the comments and we'll handwrite it on a card for you.

Gift Certificates
If you're unsure what the lucky recipient of your gift wants, there are always gift certificates! Electronic gift certificates are sent to any e-mail address and the recipient can redeem online in our webshop. You can send any amount.
