We are hiring!

Design store and gallery, Rare Device, is hiring a part time employee, we need someone for about 23 hours a week. We are a family owned and operated small business. We sell things for the home, jewelry, paper goods and gifts. We also have a monthly rotating gallery and we host numerous events throughout the year. In addition, we are also home to the Little Otsu Mini Store.

We are looking for a very friendly, reliable and responsible person who is independent, a multi-tasker and quick to think on their feet. Retail experience is desired.

Responsibilities include:
*Provide excellent customer service. This includes getting to know all of the products that we carry (we have a lot!), being able to answer customer's questions about the products and designers.
*Store upkeep. Making sure the store is always clean and tidy and shelves are stocked.
*Light website maintenance, mostly data entry.
*Receive inventory
*Ship online orders
*Assist during events
*Other duties as required

There is plenty of room for growth and development in this position. We'd love to hire someone who is willing to grow with us!
