Upcoming Shows
I was going to write about the major art shows going on around the country but they already get a lot of play. Here are a few of the indie ones coming up in California. If you have others, please leave a note in the comments.
Tomorrow my super-partner Lisa's show opens at Firefly in Venice, CA. I am pretty sad I can't be there cuz the work looks great! If you are in LA, go down and say hi to my girl.
Friday is Park Life's one year anniversary and group show opening, including Kelly Lynn Jones and many other great artists. Someone said our shop is like theirs so I want to go say hi. Saturday my friend Mike has art in a new show up at Ritual Roasters. I will get a gibraltar (or something stronger) and cheer him on.
Next week I have a San Francisco triple header: Thursday night is opening night for Diana Fayt at CandyStore, Friday night it's Lorena Siminovich's turn at Doe, and then Saturday we see Susie Ghahremani at Giant Robot. Whew!
